What is LIQ Protocol?
LIQ is the platform utility token for LIQ, an on-chain liquidation protocol created for Serum DEX margin trading markets and other lending platforms on the Solana network. The LIQ Protocol liquidator identifies overexposed accounts that fall below a predetermined collateralization ratio, prepares those accounts for liquidation, then provides funds to the liquidated accounts' liabilities, in return receiving funds from the liquidated accounts' collateral. The profits are in turn shared through LIQ Protocol LP staking rewards.
