What is Calorie?
Calorie is a sub-token built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) aiming to become the world's food token, with intended use case as a payment method within the F&B (food & beverage) industry for products and/or services such as home delivery, hospitality, supermarket, farming and wholesale purchases. Calorie can be integrated into digital payment applications and customer web-apps for companies within the F&B industry. In the future, Calorie may be distributed by governments to help individuals facing food shortages worldwide. Calorie hopes to build a global community within different sectors of the F&B industry to be involved in the decision-making process and help Calorie grow.
