What is Chow Chow Finance [BSC]?
Since the birth of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies have always been shrouded in a layer of secrecy. Due to its anonymous nature, crypto has unfortunately had its share of negative connotations in the past. Chow Chow Finance aims to change the world’s view by being the very first transparent charity-based meme cryptocurrency project.
Chow Chow Finance (CHOW) was created in February of 2021 and is run completely by the community. They have set up 2 charity wallets - 1 on the Ethereum Network and 1 on the Binance Smart Chain network - that gain rewards from the 3% fee that it collects from all transactions. These rewards are sold and donated to a chosen organization every few weeks.
CHOW aims not only to support these organizations through donations, but also to assist the crypto industry as a whole by encouraging mass adoption. Thousands of non-profits depend on donations to survive, however, a tiny fraction of them accept crypto from donors. The current cryptocurrency market capitalization as a whole is over $2 trillion. Many donors who own cryptocurrencies actually prefer to donate in this way as it provides great tax incentives for them. Organizations in need of financial assistance can benefit from accepting donations in crypto as they can easily be sold for fiat currency and CHOW is there to show them how.
CHOW wants to show the world that investing in crypto doesn’t always have to focus on financial gains only for oneself. It can be used to do good in the real world and have actual tangible impacts for those in need.
