What is Ethereum Push Notification Service?
PUSH is the ERC-20 utilty token for Ethereum Push Notification Service (EPNS), a decentralized communication protocol that enables blockchain based notifications that are chain agnostic, incentivized and platform independent. EPNS functions as a decentralized middleware allowing decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts and WEB3 services to deliver push notification based alerts to the end user, collaborating with industry leading decentralized service and infrastructure providers including AAVE, Uniswap, Alpha Homora, YAM finance and Polygon network. EPNS requires services that want to send notifications to their subscribers to stake DAI to the protocol, which is lent to AAVE DeFi protocol to generate interest to be distributed in weighted proportion to all subscribers who opt in to receive notifications.
