What is HARD
Hard Protocol is a cross-chain decentralized money market built on the Kava blockchain network. Hard Protocol allows users to borrow cross-chain assets, providing their existing digital asset holdings as collateral while earning HARD token rewards on the locked collateral. Users may also supply their digital assets to the protocol for others to borrow, earning interest in HARD token rewards with supply-side deposits supported for BTC, XRP, BNB, BUSD, and USDX. HARD token holders earn voting rights to participate in community governance for decisions to be made about changes the platform. Hard protocol was created using Kava interoperable blockchain to allow for the creation of cross-chain bridges, integration with Chainlink oracles, and enhanced security from the Tendermint consensus mechanism.
