What is Mango?
MNGO is the utility and reward token for Mango Markets, a decentralized exchange (DEX) and leverage trading ecosystem for Solana blockchain, providing cross-collateralized decentralized leveraged perpetual futures markets and decentralized lending within its community governed protocol. Users can open long or short positions for a wide range of assets, spot trading BTC, ETH, SOL, and SRM cross-collateralized with up to 5x leverage. Users can earn MNGO token rewards by providing liquidity to the protocol as decentralized market makers, or as part of the liquidator program, helping to safeguard Mango protocol as decentralized liquidators by identifying and liquidating overexposed accounts that fall below a predetermined collateralization ratio.
