What is OFW FINANCE?
OFW Finance is a decentralized platform providing decentralized direct help to victims of abuse by their employers overseas. Nearly 5,000 cases of maltreatment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) were recorded in 2020, as shown by data presented during a Senate Labor Committee hearing. OFWs can use OFW Finance wallet as a seamless way to send crypto remittances back home instantly. OFW is a deflationary token asset for Binance Smart Chain standard. Every transaction involving BEP-20 OFW token is taxed 10%, with 5% distributed to holders, 2% burned and 3% staked to a smart contract that sends BNB directly to the OFW charity wallet when a set limit of BNB has been reached. This donation method eliminates price impact of donating OFW token directly. 30% of liquidity is locked by DxLock and 60% of initial token supply was burned. OFW Finance mission is to provide help directly to abuse victims and not through corrupt Foundations' CEO.
