What is Venus Reward Token?
Venus Reward Token (VRT) is a reward mechanism created as part of a liquidity mining distribution for Venus Protocol borrowers, suppliers, and users staking assets on Venus platform. VRT is a fair launch token with an initial airdrop followed by a mining distribution for Binance Smart Chain (BSC). VRT provides utility on the Venus platform to substitute the current reward mechanism relying only on VRT distribution. Eventually VRT will replace a majority of reward distribution on Venus, reducing emissions and inflation rate of Venus Protocol governance token XVS.
