Someone created a token on pump.fun and airdropped 268 million tokens (26.8%) to Patrick Bateman, the original developer of $WIF.
The original $WIF dev slowly started burning the tokens.
A total of 20% tokens worth over $200,000 at that time were burned by Bateman the OG $WIF Dev himself.
We were off to an insane start for the first couple of days. But then the guy who made this token rugged us—he shut down the Telegram group and spammed BBC pics on the buybots. Then we lost access to the twitter account and painfully watched as it was sabotaged.
We stepped up, formed the CTO, and the original WIF developer supported us. We built a marketing wallet, and learned the hard way that we needed a multisig wallet. The person managing the mw dumped ($16,000) worth of our precious tokens right on our heads. Our efforts were destroyed and our market cap bled down to $80K.
Only a handful of believers stayed active in these dark times, but it was enough. Through the pain,
SecondChance believers worked.
Slowly but surely, we rebuilt the community.
