What is Flokicoin?
Flokicoin is a proof‑of‑work cryptocurrency built on its own open‑source blockchain, Lokichain. It is not just another PoW coin; it’s the monetary layer for the Web of Fun (WoF) movement—an initiative to build a “next web” where data, identity and engagements circulate in a work‑based economy. WoF uses Nostr as its communication layer and relies on energy‑backed coins; Flokicoin is the work-coin people spend or earn when accessing these services. Lokichain uses the scrypt and 1‑minute blocks, with Auxiliary PoW support so miners can merge‑mine it alongside other scrypt family chains . The issuance schedule starts at 1 000 FLC per block, halves every 210 000 blocks and then transitions to a 21 FLC tail emission to provide long‑term security without a hard cap . Lokichain’s node software (Flokicoin Core) and tWallet client are open and permissionless. tWallet includes built‑in FLN (Flokicoin Lightning Network) component for Lightning operations.
