What is Keep Network?
KEEP is the ERC-20 governance token for Keep Network, a privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure provider offering developers the use of off-chain containers called "keeps" allowing smart contracts to manage and integrate private data on public protocols without sacrificing confidentiality. Keep blockchain privacy infrastructure provides the basis of the tBTC Decentralized Redeemable BTC-backed ERC-20 Token (1 tBTC = 1 BTC). Using Keep Network private keys to a user's bitcoin are stored in keeps where they are protected from exposure to the public facing Ethereum blockchain. Keeps are distributed across validators using a Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm to ensure transferred data remains fully private and decentralized. The overall goal of Keep Network is to function as Ethereum's first private computer.
