What is Lumen?
Lumen is a standalone Layer-1 blockchain focused on building decentralized Internet infrastructure. The network combines blockchain technology with a dedicated browser and decentralized content distribution through IPFS. Lumen uses the Cosmos SDK and CometBFT for its underlying blockchain architecture, with post-quantum Dilithium signatures implemented alongside conventional cryptography to provide additional protection against future quantum threats.
