What is Lumen?
LMN is the native utility token of the Lumen Layer 1 blockchain. It is used for value transfer between accounts and for interacting with protocol-level features including content-addressed data, domain-like naming records, and decentralized hosting infrastructure.
The token is also used to pay for network operations such as creation and modification of on-chain records, gateway provisioning, and time-based hosting plans. LMN follows a deterministic emission model with a fixed supply cap and a halving-based reward schedule.
