What is SOUL
SOUL is the native token for Phantasma Chain, a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain network with a goal to provide the technological backbone for the future of gaming, while increasing developer revenue and empowering digital ownership. SOUL token can be used for staking, voting in decentralized community governance, as payment for decentralized storage including decentralized application (DApp) storage, and as currency to buy and sell games, artwork, music and other non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Phantasma Chain SDK supports C# and Javascript language with integrated smart contract compiler for Solidity, Python, and C# smart contracts. The Phantasma Network provides Ghost Mode to allow users to send private transactions. Phantasma Cosmic Swaps framework allows developers to build their own exchange front-end, while the backend is connected directly to Phantasma for the sharing of liquidity, orders and pairs for every supported exchange. Phantasma Smart NFTs store information on the blockchain in the form of ROM and RAM, where the ROM contains immutable core characteristics unchangeable by the NFT owner, and the RAM contains information that can be changed by the NFT owner such as the name of a character in a game.
