What is Sora?
XOR is the native utility token for SORA Ecosystem created using Polkadot Substrate framework. XOR is an elastic supply asset managed algorithmically by a token bonding curve. XOR is used to pay for transaction fees (gas) on the Sora Network and functions as a governance token for SORA Parliament. SORA is working to build a fully decentralized and democratic world economic system, providing tools to be integrated with decentralized applications including atomic token swaps, cross-chain token bridge service, and programmatic rules for digital assets to interact with smart contracts. Unlike blockchain networks that use token voting, SORA utilizes multi-body sortition to govern protocol decisions and the use of the SORA funds in a decentralized way.
