What is Tribe?
TRIBE is the ERC-20 governance token for FEI, a stablecoin protocol utilizing a dual token model to maintain the peg of its ETH-backed USD stablecoin FEI, integrating Uniswap LP as a market and stability mechanism within its Protocol Controlled Value (PCV) strategy. When FEI is below $1, PCV will withdraw 99% of the protocol-owned liquidity from LP to buy FEI and raise FEI price up to peg. The remaining PCV is resupplied as liquidity and any excess FEI burned. When FEI is above $1, PCV determines the difference between current and target price, minting additional FEI to increase circulating supply and decrease FEI price to peg. TRIBE token holders can create and vote on governance proposals, or delegate voting power to other users. Users may contribute FEI-TRIBE LP to the Uniswap liquidity pool, earning a share of transaction fees for providing liquidity, or stake FEI-TRIBE LP tokens in Fei Protocol staking pool to earn additional TRIBE rewards.
