What is DigitalBits?
XDB is the native asset for DigitalBits, an open-souce blockchain known as the "blockchain for brands" used to power consumer digital assets including loyalty points, gift cards, fan tokens, digital currencies and other use cases. The DigiBits blockchain processes up to 10,000 transactions per second using an energy-efficient Federated Byzantine agreement consensus mechanism. Branded digital assets on the DigiBits blockchain can exist in the form of digital currency, stablecoins, or non-fungible tokens (NFTs). DigitalBits utilizes multi-hop technology to support on-chain asset liquidity. Multi-hop would seamlessly allow a user to trade, for example, their coffee rewards points for airline rewards points.
