What is Wancoin?
Wancoin (WAN) is the native coin of Wanchain Proof of Stake blockchain network, providing cross-chain interoperability for transactions and applications to be built across multiple blockchain networks. “Wan” means “ten thousand” in Chinese, so the name ‘Wanchain’ translates to “ten thousand blockchains”. WAN also refers to the ‘Wide Area Network’ in networking terminology, and Wanchain is building a network of many blockchains previously unable to communicate. Token authors can mint custom WRC-20 tokens on Wanchain mainnet for trading or smart contract integration.
