What is Numeraire?
Numeraire (NMR) is the ERC-20 utility token for Numerai, a San Francisco-based hedge fund that crowdsources artificial intelligence solutions to help make investment decisions in major stock markets around the world using an artificial intelligence aggregation model called a “meta model”. Numeraire (NMR) holders earn interest by staking their NMR tokens each week based on specific predictions. The Numerai platform provides Signals- an avenue for users to upload stock market strategies to support a specific stock or trading style, and Tournaments – weekly competitions for users to submit trading algorithms for other users to bet on the most likely outcome.
