What is Aavegotchi?
Aavegotchi is a DeFi-staked crypto collectibles ecosystem powered by Aave. Users can summon provably rare Aavegotci ERC-721 NFT by staking Spirit Force, represented by Aave-backed ERC-20 tokens or "aTokens" including aDAI, aUSDT, aLINK and similar to Portals, or alternatively purchase Aavegotchi in the Baazaar Non-Fungible Token (NFT) marketplace using ERC-20 GHST utility token. Each ERC-721 Aavegotchi manages an escrow smart contract address to hold its aToken Spirit Force, generating yield via Aave LendingPool to increase aToken quantity held in each wallet. Aavegotchis possess multiple traits to influence their Rarity Score, performance in mini-games, and ability to equip digital wearables. Every Aavegotchi is asssigned random traits upon summon, using Chainlink VRF random number generator, with trait values distributed on a bell-curve and each trait assigned a value of Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Mythical. Aavegotchis possess seven different personality traits, including Energy, Aggressiveness, Spookinesss, Brain Size, Eye Shape, and Eye Color. Each Aavegotchi maintains a Kinship value corresponding to its time spent with original owner, participation in mini games and voting activity in AavegotchiDAO. Higher Kinship values boost gaming performance and act as a multiplier for voting power and GHST reward distribution from rarity farming. Aavegotchi extends the ERC-998 Composables standard, allowing each Aavegotchi ERC-721 NFT to manage child ERC-721 or ERC-1155 NFTs, referred to as wearables in the Aavegotchi ecosystem. Wearables include Aavegotchi Head, Face, Eyes, Hands, Feet, and Pet. Consumables are similar to wearables and used for participation in mini-games, to be burned and removed from inventory after use.
