What is COTI?
COTI is a distributed payment network and highly scalable Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) based Proof of Work (PoW) blockchain protocol used for global digital payments and decentralized financial (DeFi) portfolio management, empowering organizations to build custom payment solutions and digitize currency with low transaction fees to save time and money. COTI Pay allows users to securely process payments online or offline using cryptocurrency, fiat stable coins, platform native Trustchain tokens or credit cards as a method of payment. By accepting many forms of currency COTI avoids payment friction caused by the long settlement periods, additional fees and cross-border limitations incurred by traditional financial systems. COTI Bridge is a cross-chain solution allowing users to swap platform native Trustchain COTI to ERC-20, BEP-2 or BEP-20 Binance Smart Chain tokens, however the bridge has been closed temporarily due to a shortage of native COTI.
