What is district0x?
DNT is the ERC-20 governance and utility token for district0x, a network of decentralized markets and communities where users create and host their own Districts to post listings, build reputation scores and make payments using the d0xINFRA smart contract framework. Each district is managed by a governance layer provided by AragonDAO and hosted using The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). DNT token provides voting rights within each district, allowing users to stake DNT to signal which districts are to be allowed on the platform. DNT can be used to acquire DVT, representing voting shares within an individual marketplace. Developers can create districts using the District Creation Platform, uploading custom logos, configuring UI elements and installing auxiliary modules (plugins) to add additional functionality including search, filtering, user submitted content, rankings, reputation scoring, payments and invoicing.
